I figured out that what I want to share on a regular basis is photos, so the site is now a simple image gallery. There's stuff from various trips, pics of the cars I obsess over and other bits & bobs.

This site is partially an exercise for me in standards compliance. It's XHTML 1.1 validated, CSS validated, uses entirely tableless layout, deals with font resizing properly and has differerent styles for printing. It doesn't use a line of JavaScript and apart from a couple of things which just don't make sense in the real world, it's also AAA accessible. Go on, turn off CSS.
